Ocean 1 Hotel & Suites Ocean City (Ocean City, USA)

You will get your money's worth when you stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the location works out well as most things are within walking distance. Would be nice if they had a swimming pool though.

The Boardwalk is the in-spot to be when in the vicinity. There are plenty of restaurants and shops and the hotel is convenient to all the action. It's an ideal location if you want a balcony with a fantastic oceanfront view and to people watch.

The hotel personnel are extremely nice. In fact, they may be some of the most pleasant staff you will encounter along your travels. They are just that nice!

The parking lot is too small. There are roughly six parking space near the entrance. If they are occupied, you have to try to squeeze into an extremely small lot at the end of the block. If that is full, well, you are really out of luck and have to walk several blocks to the next parking area. It's a "luck of the draw" when it comes to parking at this facility.

A fitted sheet on the beds would be far better than what they currently provide. You may find some discrepancies like cigarette burns in the carpet, hairs in the bathtub, and a musty smell. Depending on what type of mattress you prefer, the mattress at the hotel could leave you with backache. If you are having trouble with a bad smell coming from the air conditioning, pullout the vent screen, you may be surprised the difference it makes. It seems that they are so filthy they block clean air from circulating.

The balconies are not private. The only thing separating them is a handrail.
