This is an excellent value for the money. A spotless and well-maintained hotel about ten minutes' walk from St. Helier and city centre. If you walk through the park area, you may get there faster, and most definitely will enjoy the scenery. Clean rooms and cosy beds, plenty of coffee/tea making provisions, large televisions and pretty views over the greenery. Towels and linens changed/provided daily.

Front-facing rooms are unfortunately facing the road, which is noisy to being with and becomes increasingly so throughout the night into the morning hours. If you are a light sleeper, request a room facing the back, especially if you'll want the windows open (it does get quite warm in some of the rooms.)
The pool is not for swimming laps. You can float and splash around, but it truly isn't big enough for any major Olympic swimming.
A few items seem a bit behind the times here. You only get Wi-Fi in the reception/lounge area and even then it can be sort of weak. There is no lift on-site, so if stairs are difficult for you, you may want to request a lower floor. Rooms get very warm here, so you may want to bring a fan. Parking is a tight squeeze at times, so staff asks that you leave your keys with them in case someone can't fit and they will move your car for you.
