Positive Reviews
positive:
Both car parking and Wi-Fi are free here!
This hotel is keeping up with the times unlike some other Australian hotels, offering both car parking and Wi-Fi for free, included in the room rate. Hopefully other hotels down under will take notice and do the same.
positive:
Professional staff are always on hand to help.
The people working here really know what they're doing, so rest assured that you'll be treated like a valued guest from the moment you walk in the door. If you need anything, whether it's booking a cab or reserving a restaurant table, just ask.
positive:
Lots of space to enjoy in the airy rooms.
Pack plenty of luggage when you stay at this hotel because the rooms are big. You'll have plenty of extra space to enjoy, which makes these rooms really easy to relax in and get comfortable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Standard of cleanliness is not good enough.
Unfortunately things are getting a little dirty in this place, with grubby carpets and marks on the walls being the first telltale signs you can expect. Ensuite bathrooms seem to be ignored by housekeeping, with some suffering from mould. Better cleaning is needed here.
negative:
Restaurant food and service needs improvement.
The hotel restaurant is hardly fine dining, but they are struggling just to get the basics right here. Service is slow and disorganised, plus the food that finally arrives on your table is not up to scratch. Eat elsewhere for a better experience.
negative:
High room rates, not the best value for money.
The price for a room here is far from cheap, in fact it's quite expensive when considering the quality of the hotel. If you shop around and see what other accommodation is available in Bankstown you might do much better for your money.
