Elegant, comfortable rooms
Many guests found the decor to be stylish and elegant. The rooms are well appointed, clean and furnished with comfortable beds. Guests also enjoyed having in-room tea and coffee making facilities. Microwaves and fridges are also provided on request.

Many sites and attractions are easily accessible by car, with Downtown Quebec and Old Quebec being just a short drive away. There is also a bus stop a few minutes' walk from the hotel with several bus lines available.

Cleanliness a hit and miss affair
While not the majority, a range of cleanliness issues were reported. In some cases mold was found to be growing in the bathroom. The surfaces in the room were dusty and the bathroom fans and air conditioning unit were also found to be covered in thick layers of dust. At times the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned as rubbish from previous guests was found.

Some guests reported that their rooms smelled unpleasantly and described the smell as either musty, stale or smoky.

Rooms need an upgrade
Despite many favorable reviews, several guests were disappointed with the furnishings in their rooms. In contrast to the lobby which is well presented and maintained, some guests found the furnishings in the private rooms to be old, outdated and worn. Guests reported that some of the bedding had holes, and the carpets along the corridors were stained and in need of replacement.
