They were more than willing to please, especially the manager, and were consistent with being helpful while courteous to the guests all throughout their stay. They even provided useful tips in terms of dining options and shops within the area.
The motel's close proximity to major attractions such as Adelaide Hills and Mt. Lofty was the main reason why guests rated this property highly. Adelaide's central business district was also nearby. Moreover, guests so were able to visit different shops and restaurants just within a short walking distance or a short drive away.
Aside from having extremely clean bedding, sheets, and blankets, previous guests also appreciated the clean and comfortable beds or mattresses. As a result, they were able to relax and enjoy their stay without feeling any itch or discomfort.
Due to the loud noise coming from different vehicles passing along the motel especially large trucks using air brakes, guests were not able to sleep soundly at night. The traffic from the highway was pretty bad and can be heard inside the rooms even when windows were closed.
Many guests were disappointed with the small size of the bathroom. The shower area was too narrow while the toilet area was also too small. Thus, they had difficulty moving around inside or comfortably getting a shower.
Despite staff's efforts to sanitise, guests had issues with the stale smell or strong smell of cigarette smoke inside the rooms. The rooms were also quite dirty, and there's a distinct smell of old furniture and smoky atmosphere was very noticeable according to guests.
