positive:
Hotel is small but cozy.
Despite the rooms at The Berkeley Hotel not being the biggest, the tasteful décor and plus furnishings still allow guests to be very comfortable during their stay. The historic building also has a unique charm that enhances visits.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Outside social scene goes late into the night.
With its location in the center of Richmond's social scene, The Berkeley Hotel is in a good spot to take advantage of popular bars and restaurants. Unfortunately these spots are popular late into the night and noise from patrons and traffic often causes sleep issues for hotel guests.
negative:
Breakfast isn't the best quality.
While the on-site restaurant may be award winning for their dinners, the breakfast choices are not that memorable. The quality of meals is just okay according to comments, and not really worth the high additional price.
negative:
Some guests struggle with the Wi-Fi.
People who stay at The Berkeley Hotel and expect to be online during their visit may end up disappointed. Signal quality is inconsistent throughout the hotel and unfortunately the front desk staff doesn't have the technical knowhow to be very helpful. an>.
