You can step out of the hotel and stroll right into several LA attractions including the Grove, the Farmer’s market, the LA County Museum of Art. The inn is popular amongst people who have tickets to a CBS show, because the studios are nearby. It’s also located near Union Station and public transportation.

The rooms are basic and clean. Guests say it’s a reasonable deal for budget travelers who seek an affordable, quiet place to stay and want to access the local culture. Just don’t expect luxury accommodations.

Guests liked that the simple breakfast buffet lasted for hours giving early risers and late risers an opportunity to eat. They said it’s not the widest variety of foods available with cereal, bread, bagels and waffles, but the breakfast is sufficient to get you out the door.

Be prepared for tiny rooms. Many commented that the rooms were oddly configured with a sink outside the bathroom and that the space inside the room didn’t leave much room for baggage. They also lamented the lack of a closet space.

The hostel has an underground parking facility, but drive carefully. Several guests said it’s a challenge to get in and out of the structure and the that it seems like only small cars can fit in the spaces. They said it was an extremely tight squeeze for full sized cars and pickup trucks.

Guests say that the inn needs an update. Although the rooms are kept clean, the common areas need some attention and a coat of paint. They noted some paint and wall damage in the exterior.
