Strandflickornas Havshotell is a charming little boutique hotel built in 1905 as a rest home for for worn out nurses in need of peace and recreation. The hotel has newly been carefully renovated in contemporary style by the current owners. It´s situated by the sea in a beautiful and tranquil part of Lysekil at the Swedish westcoast. The hotel has 22 rooms, all rather small, but of a high standard including bathroom, TV, free wifi and very comfortable beds with the finest bedding. There are also two studios by the sea; each with it´s own pier and one of them with an outdoor Jaccuzzi. Coffee, tea, biscuits and fruits are always available in the dining room free of charge. In the evenings homemade plates and seafood are served in the beautiful orangery. There is also a fully equipped bar. The hotel offers conference facilities with unique and exciting conference rooms and group activities such as kayaking, diving, climbing, oyster and mussel adventures, boat trips, fishing and golf. Next to the hotel are tennis courts, a miniature golf course, a sea aquarium, nice granite rocks and a small beach. The small town of Lysekil also offers nice shopping all year around. Best of all is the friendly staff!
