Positive Reviews
positive:
Lovely Location and Value
Just minutes away from the attractions of Gatlinburg, this is a central location from which to explore. Less than ten minutes' walk from much of the dining, shopping and entertainment venues of "the main strip", you won't miss a thing stepping out from this locale's doorstep. Ample free parking, affordable rates and a swimming pool/hot tub on premises.
positive:
Decent, Basic Rooms
These are no frills units for the budget traveler. Spacious with refrigerators, microwaves, dining areas, fireplaces and beautiful balcony views. (Lowest level units have windows instead of balconies; some have complained that passersby can see in their windows unless blinds are kept closed.).
positive:
Friendly-ish Staff
Most expressed their gratitude toward friendly, helpful staff and management. Others had the opposite impression and felt they were quite rude.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pool Closed
Some had high hopes for the swimming pool, only to find it was kept covered throughout their entire warm, summer stay.
negative:
Poor Signals
Wi-Fi is often weak and phone reception is hit or miss.
negative:
Dirty and in Disrepair
Ask to see your room and ensure things are up to your standard before paying if possible. Lack of cleanliness, outdated decor, lights that don't work, musty/smoky odors, and broken appliances may be of concern. Plumbing and water issues are a first priority when looking around. If the toilet runs or backs up at all, or it looks like it has in the past, you may want a different room. Some paid the additional cleaning fee and did not get cleaning service; might as well save a buck and clean it yourself. Some have had little luck getting refunded or discounted when they've complained about such issues. Others had negative experiences when given unexpected upgrades upon arrival you may want to insist on the room you booked instead.
