Positive Reviews
positive:
Wonderful location for beach lovers.
Having the beach within such an easy walk means you can stroll over to the ocean rather than deal with all the hassle associated with waiting in traffic and looking for a parking space. Suffice to say, this can be very beneficial indeed when traveling with small children!
positive:
En-suite kitchens are a big plus.
It is worth opting for a room with a kitchen as the motel is well served by local convenience stores, thus you can save yourself a ton of money on eating out every night.
positive:
Staff are genuinely friendly.
You'll find few corporate heirs and graces here. This is a family-run establishment where good old-fashioned hospitality and informal chit-chat rule the roost - and it's all the better for it!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Wi-Fi isn't so good.
The hotel's wireless Internet is a little temperamental at times and has a habit of kicking you off after 90 minutes. Not a deal-breaker by any means but it can prove somewhat irritating at times.
negative:
Pool can get busy.
Although the outdoor pool is nice, it isn't the biggest around. This means that it gets full pretty quickly at peak times, i.e. when guests return from the beach. Closing it at 8pm doesn't help either.
negative:
But that's all there is..
It's only really the intermittent Wi-Fi signal and the occasionally busy pool which guests (some guests) take issue with here. Everything else is, more often than not, actually pretty good.
