    THB Tropical Island is situated within huge grounds on the Spanish island of Lanzarote. Guests are able to choose from an apartment or connecting apartments. Apartments feature a terrace or balcony, hairdryer, kettle, and a microwave in the kitchen area. There are 16 different swimming pools, one of which has slides for children. There are two outdoor hot tubs and an adults-only section in the premium area. The thermal spa has numerous features and treatments and massages are available. For children there is a kids’ club and a playground. There are many sport facilities including an artificial football pitch, bicycle hire and tennis courts. On-site are multiple bars and themed restaurants throughout the hotel. THB Tropical Island is about a ten-minute walk or short taxi ride away from the resort centre of Playa Blanca. It is approximately 33 kilometres from the airport.

    Well-equipped rooms.

    Even if you take advantage of the all-inclusive package the apartments still contains facilities such as a kitchen. Guests were impressed with the space.

    The amazing number of pools was mentioned by many previous guests. There are 16 in total with nice sun loungers and terrace areas. Children really enjoyed playing in the splash pool.

    Staff maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the whole hotel. The public areas are always spotless and the housekeeping staff work hard to keep the rooms clean. The large, lush grounds are also well-maintained by the gardeners.

    Previous guests have mentioned that there aren’t enough staff at the hotel which causes delays at check-in. Not all bars are always open which adds to the long queues at the bar.

    Some guests felt that the entertainment package wasn’t great. They said that the complex lacks ambience and suggested that there is music around the pool and that more entertainment and shows were needed on an evening.
