Resort Meliá Orlando Celebration (Celebration, USA)

The Meliá Orlando Hotel is located in the suburb of Celebration, developed by the Disney Company in the early 1990s just outside the Disney resort. Only two miles from the Disney property, this hotel is about as close as you can get to the Disney resort without actually staying onsite. Other area attractions including SeaWorld, Universal Orlando and Celebration Town Center are all within a five minute drive.

The suites feature plenty of room for families. The hotel offers one and two bedroom options, and both models also include a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Suites also feature a full kitchen and a dining area.

The beautiful and well-maintained pool area forms the hub of the hotel. The pool's design features a vanishing edge and a 360 degree loop around a landscaped center island. The pool is heated, meaning that swimmers can enjoy the water even during the colder months of January and February before taking a soothing dip in the hot tub.

While Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, many guests report that the network is unreliable. You may have difficulty accessing the Wi-Fi network, and you may also experience slow performance.

Although the hotel offers free amenities including parking, Wi-Fi and gym access, the hotel also charges a nightly resort fee for general use of the facility. While this is not a huge expense (essentially the same as paying for daily parking at the theme park resorts), keep it in mind, as the cost can add up over several days.

Some guests have reported problems with hotel staff failing to change towels or bedding for several days at a time. It may not always be enough to leave your dirty towels on the bathroom floor in order to receive new ones.
