About FERGUS Club Europa
With its multiple playgrounds, tree forts and children’s entertainment, FERGUS Club Europa is an incredibly family-friendly resort less than a mile from the beach at Paguera.
The rooms have that light and airy feel typical of the seaside. Each features en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, flat screen TV, in room safe (fee), microwave and telephone.
The resort has excellent facilities, especially for younger children. There is a huge pool terrace, with place for all ages. Likewise, the comprehensive entertainment program also makes sure to have something for the whole family.
The main buffet restaurant serves a variety of foods, so all will be able to find something they like, while the poolbar serves drinks and light meals to those who prefer to enjoy the good life poolside.
Paguera’s town centre and beach are approximately 0.7 miles from FERGUS Club Europa.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Pretty decent food
Remarkably for a resort complex, it was pretty hard to find a bad word written about the food coming out of Club Europa's kitchens. While not exactly described as gourmet quality, guests felt that there were an excellent variety of foods available, all well prepared and presented. They didn't seem to become bored with it over the course of their holiday.
positive:
Good facilities all round
Club Europa seems to have been very popular with families, with them saying that the resort really did cater to all ages, perhaps with the exception of teenagers. But everyone loved the pool terrace and games room, while parents seemed satisfied that their younger children had lots to do.
positive:
Friendly staff
Again and again guests complimented the staff, who were said to be friendly and cheerful, so contributing to the holiday atmosphere.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Kitchens exceptionally poorly equipped
Some of the bigger studios have their own kitchenette, but those who booked these units seemed to think they hardly needed to bother with installing them. They mentioned that they were exceptionally poorly equipped, with even very basic kitchen items missing. They certainly didn't feel they had what they needed to prepare proper meals.
negative:
Paid Wi-Fi
This one did attract substantial criticism. Wi-Fi must be paid for, but guests felt strongly that, since connectivity was such a basic feature of life nowadays, that it should have been included in the room-rate.
negative:
Bit of a walk to the beach
Several guests felt it was a bit of a slog to get to the beach. While there were buses available, they found these inconvenient and would have been happier at a resort right on the beach.
