Playa Linda Beach Resort (Oranjestad, Aruba)

Located right in front of beautiful white sands, the Playa Linda Beach Resort enjoys a premier spot on the island of Aruba. A plethora of different restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance, and a cinema and golf course are also nearby.

Your needs are put first by all the staff that work at this resort, who are very professional and friendly when dealing with your requests. You really can't fault the customer service here.

Everything is kept tidy in the communal areas of the hotel, and the large swimming pool is a real asset to the resort. No doubt you'll find yourself drifting away on a sun lounger beneath the swaying palms.

Two gripes here. One, you have to pay to use the hotel Wi-Fi. Two, even once you have parted with your cash and connected to the internet the speed is so slow it becomes nothing more than a pain to use.

Playa Linda Beach Resort would have once been a very nice hotel, but unfortunately those days are slipping behind it now, and there is much room for improvement in the overall appearance of the rooms and facilities.

You might find yourself in a rather funky smelling room, or there could be water marks on the celling. Have a good look around your room once you arrive and demand a different one if it is not up to scratch.
