The Noble House Pelican Grand Beach Resort is located right on the ocean. You can enjoy beachfront dining, or grab a drink and watch the sun set over the water from a rocking chair on the long veranda. The ocean view rooms are very popular, and the sand is a big draw too.

You can while away the hours floating along the area's only lazy river on an inner tube. Many guests also appreciated the zero entry (walk-in) pool and the friendly pool attendants who supply fresh towels, bring drinks and fruit, and keep the kids entertained.

With a wide range of activities and warm, hospitable staff, this is a great destination for the whole family. The beach, pool and lazy river are perfect for kids, and the ice cream parlor is a hit with all ages.

Valet parking fees can reportedly add up fast if you drive to the Pelican Grand! Some reviewers were disappointed that they had not been informed about this extra charge, and also that there is no self-parking option.

Although the beach location was enjoyed by most reviewers, some were disappointed to find that there were few places to visit within walking distance of the hotel. To reach all the tourist attractions, malls and restaurants of Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area you need to drive, or take a cab.

While most guests were pleased with their rooms, several people who had stayed in city view rooms were surprised to find that there were no drawers to store their clothes in. Hanging space is provided, however.
