Papagayo Beach Hotel (Willemstad, Curacao)

The room is nice and quiet. The hotel offers very clean, simple and elegantly furnished rooms. Everything works. The rooms are well equipped with kitchenware and have a modern flair.

With its close proximity to several beaches, a shopping centre and a variety of outdoor activities, the hotel is an ideal location for holiday makers. Delicious, well prepared food is served at the onsite restaurant. The breakfast buffet is varied and plenteous.

The hotel has no shortage of staff members. They are all well trained and very industrious in their efforts to make your stay at the hotel as relaxing as possible. They are very nice and efficient and go out of their way to help you.

A few guests have complained about the signal quality of the Wi-Fi provided by the hotel. It appears to be not quite as strong and stable as expected. In a few of the rooms and other public areas it keeps disappearing.

A number of guests have complained about the trouble experienced if you want to take a shower. It is difficult to get the right mix of hot and cold using the shower knobs. A lot of the time you might just end up having a scalding hot or freezing cold shower as the temperature keeps readjusting itself.

Guests have complained about the high levels of noise inside the hotel. Sound carries easily from room to room. The floors appear to be rather noisy and the same applies to the doors and staircases. Those near the bar were at times disturbed by the loud music.
