This locale is situated perfectly for a tranquil respite but also easy access to all the the main city areas and attractions of the region.  Gorgeous views.  Great value for the money spent.

Plenty of room and storage space with all the features you need, including cosy beds, excellent showers, free Wi-Fi, robes, iron/ironing boards.  Spotlessly clean.  Disabled-accessibility features are top notch, especially in recently refurbished rooms.

The breakfast is optimal for a continental with fully-cooked option.  Superb quality, fresh and lots of choices on the buffet.  Dinner is a popular event here with an outstanding menu and impressive wine list.  Decent "pub grub."  You may have a bit of a

Thin walls may pose a problem for the light sleepers, allowing noise in from the reception area downstairs, creaking floorboards and slamming doors.  Mostly a quiet spot, however, it has its occasional share of late night revelers to interrupt the peace.

Some felt the rooms were very basic, needed renovating, the floorboards needing securing, the mattresses worn, the features were tired and the bathrooms were way too small.  No railing to assist in getting into/out of the shower.

Someone could do something about the wait, but it appears they don't wish to be bothered.  The quality is decent if you don't mind the wait.
