The hotel is surrounded by extensive grounds which include an 18-hole- golf course providing peace and tranquility as well as some very picturesque views. Guests said that they felt relaxed and welcomed the opportunity of being surrounded by nature as opposed to buildings and noise. Many of the guests were very complimentary about the quality of food stating that the dishes were cooked to perfection and made using fresh local ingredients. The menus were described as extensive catering for various dietary requirements as well as children.
Guests whose rooms were located in the new development adjacent to the main building complained about having to walk quite a bit in order to get to the reception and the hotel restaurant. This was inconvenient particularly during bad weather when guests had to walk to the main building in the rain.
Those who wanted to connect to the internet said that they experienced difficulties due to the low and intermittent Wi-Fi signal. Guests staying in the Courtyard rooms said that the signal there was particularly poor.
