Positive Reviews
positive:
The location couldn't be better.
Manuka and Kingston's foreshore, shops and lake are all nearby. Also Manuka Oval, home of GWS Giants. There are plenty of restaurants including, across the road, a pub with an excellent ‘prepare your own meal' menu. Further tips include: try coffee at Ona and yummy pizzas at Lonsdale.
positive:
Excellent value.
Accommodation is quite spacious and everything is supplied to make it all work. Cast your eye around some of the neighbouring hotel tariffs to appreciate the excellent value provided here!
positive:
Great support staff.
Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Looking somewhat dated.
Aspects of the apartment are now dated and in need of upgrading. Surprisingly, the free Wi-Fi doesn't extend to the apartment. The stairways leading to the apartment are badly lit and virtually invite folk to trip over.
negative:
An inconvenient flow.
Poor design, quite a few years ago, placed the toilet inside the bathroom. This creates difficulties for those wanting to shower whilst others need the loo. The same designer introduced a shower that overflowed onto the floor. Inconvenient at the time of showering ... and embarrassing for the next person to use the toilet.
negative:
Noisy and difficult access.
The stairs are noisy and become a real echo chamber when fellow guests return late at night and worse for wear. Elderly and infirm guests need to consider the stairs and ensure that the apartment they book is easy for them to access. Take into account, also, the fact that you will be carrying your own luggage to the apartment.
