Reception staff are on duty around the clock and can assist with tours, transfers, local information and basic business services. Wi-Fi is free of charge and accessible throughout the property, including the rooms.
A simple buffet breakfast is served every morning. There are a couple of decent dining options at the shopping centre across the road. Reception staff can offer restaurant recommendations if required.
The centre of Trois-Rivieres and the University of Quebec campus are approximately three miles from Le Deauville Motel.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Very comfortable beds
A simply remarkable number if guests wet out of their way to report that the bed in their room was exceptionally comfortable. Considering the sheer volume of compliments, it seems that this hotel has somehow managed to achieve the near impossible by selecting a mattress with extremely braid appeal.
positive:
Decent location
Despite the fact that the hotel is some distance from the centre of Trois-Rivieres, most guests were very pleased with where they were. They liked that they were right across from a large shopping centre and said that it was a relatively easy drive to get onto the city centre when they needed to be there.
positive:
Good value for money
Guests were in agreement that the hotel offered very good value for money with decent accommodation provided at what was considered a very reasonable room rate.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some issues with noise
The most frequent, and most serious, complaints listed by guests related to noise. For a start, the location by a busy road meant that guests complained bout the noise of cars passing by. Secondly, many guests reported that the walls were “paper thin' and seemed unable to do much to prevent the passage of sound from one room to another.
negative:
Issues with the bathrooms
Quite a number of guests had two issues with the bathrooms. Firstly, they were said to be very small, and so a bit difficult to manoeuvre around. Secondly, those travelling in the colder months said they were a bit cold, and certainly much colder than the room itself.
negative:
Problems with smelly rooms
A worrying number of guests reported unpleasant smells when first walking into their room, usually said to be tobacco or plumbing related.
