You don't even need to leave the resort
As well as there being lots of local pastimes, there are activities to enjoy within the property, which is beautifully laid-out. There is a pool with a waterslide, a garden and a casino with entertainment. If you just want to relax in your room then you'll find the beds to be comfortable.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Don't sleep in
The system of booking beach huts and pool umbrellas is pretty terrible and it's quite hard to reserve what you want. Lines start to form really early so, if you snooze, you might lose out on getting a place by the pool or on the beach.
negative:
The food isn't the greatest
Meals at Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino can be something of a disappointment. Breakfast could certainly be improved and other options throughout the day seem rather expensive. There isn't a huge food selection for children either and the service is sometimes slow. Drink prices are quite high.
negative:
Smoke gets in your eyes
The casino can get a little smokey, both inside and around the entrance, which isn't especially pleasant if you are a non-smoker.
