Positive Reviews
positive:
Central location in the Latin Quarter.
Most guests find the location of Pantheon Villa ideal for exploring all the major attractions in the city. While the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Seine are just a short walk away, the nearby metro stop gives easy access to further afield. Despite its central location, it is fairly quiet and out of the main tourist hotspot.
positive:
Relaxation areas.
If you're looking for a relaxing break, the hotel offers several places to chill and take in the sights of the city. Many rooms have balconies, perfect for watching the world go by, and the Bridge Bar is the ideal spot for guests to get comfortable with a good book, or chat to fellow residents.
positive:
Value for money.
The vast majority of guests find a stay offers good value for money. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and the multilingual staff are friendly.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Overrated breakfast.
Several guests have expressed their disappointment in the breakfasts served at the hotel, stating that they are considerably simpler than they would expect from a four-star establishment. With limited choices and little in the way of re-stocking occurring after a certain time, most find it overrated and not worth the price (especially considering the alternatives nearby).
negative:
Maintenance issues.
There is some suggestion that the hotel has seen better days; the air conditioning works intermittently, as does the Wi-Fi, and some things which a few might see as charming (having proper keys, for example), are an inconvenience to others. The décor is also dated in places and would benefit from some attention.
negative:
Accessibility concerns in places.
Some rooms are accessed via a steep staircase and railings are few and far between. Those with mobility issues or travelling with young children would be advised to contact the hotel when booking.
