Positive Reviews
positive:
Personalised Service
Guests all mention the assistance given to them by the front desk personnel. They helped guests to find their way around the city, spoke very good English (and several other languages), and were quick to address any issues that arose.
positive:
Amazing Location Near Basilica
Guests who stayed in these apartments raved about the location. Within a block of the apartments there are groceries, delicatessens, public transportation, and within a few minutes' walk there are many of the popular tourist attractions and shopping districts.
positive:
Great Views of the Area
The rooftop terrace affords brilliant views of the city, while most apartments, themselves, have spectacular vistas of various sites in the city. Guests love feeling a part of the city scene in Barcelona and state that the apartments are worth it as far as being close to all of the usual tourist attractions.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Street Noise
Since the apartments are so close to the city centre the street noise can be a bit much, most guests stated. Pulling the coverings over the windows did help alleviate this somewhat, but those who are light sleepers may find it difficult to sleep.
negative:
Work for Your Keys
When first arriving guests are directed to go to another hotel, which is almost a half hour away from the apartment complex, in order to pick up the keys to their rooms. Many guests found this upsetting, especially if they were tired from the flight in, or had young children with them.
negative:
Booking Issues
More than one guest reports having secured a booking only to arrive and find that they'd been moved into another, lesser, apartment. They reported that these rooms often smelled, had worn and dated furnishings, and appliances that did not work.
