Breakfast is plentiful at the lodge. You are offered a bountiful choice of foods all cooked to order. If you are an egg lover try their boiled eggs. According to satisfied customers, they are cooked to perfection.

The facility is near the airport and there is also a great bus service that takes you into town. You can easily get to the beach by foot and the coastal paths takes you to Watergate Bay and Morgan Porth. The nearby family friendly pub, which is within walking distance, is ideal for evening meals.

The owners of the lodge are friendly, helpful host. It's obvious that they take pride in the accommodations they provide. Rooms are clean up to an acceptable standard. Some rooms provide a lovely view as well.

Though this is not the fault of the hotel, don't forget you are in Cornwall where more often than not, the weather is not on your side. Still, you can make the best of your stay by taking in the lovely views and enjoying the neighbourhood.

You may find the Wi-Fi inside the room too weak to get anything done. However, the corridor seems to pick up the connection a little better. Still, the Wi-Fi is slow overall and nearly non-existent.

The rooms at the lodge are quite small. There's little room to walk around, no area for baggage, and no space for bedside cabinets or table. You may encounter a slight musty smell when entering your room as well.
