About The Queensgate
The Queensgate is a recently refurbished 3-star hotel located on the North Shore that boasts panoramic views of the Irish Sea.
Each room includes a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities and an en suite bathroom which is serviced daily. 12 of the 28 rooms also have a sea view.
Guests can enjoy relaxing in the bar or in one of the two sun lounges that have sea views. There is also a play area for children of all ages that is equipped with toys, a Playstation and pool table.
A full English breakfast is served daily between 9am and 10am, and in the evenings home cooked meals are available, prepared using fresh local produce.
The Queensgate is within walking distance of the North Pier, Blackpool city centre, the Grand Theater and the Winter Gardens. The Pleasure Beach fair ground is 3km away.

The Queensgate is a family-run hotel and staff were reportedly friendly and willing to provided assistance and meet special requests such as providing a made-to-order breakfast.

Overall this hotel is good value for money. Rooms were reportedly clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with a good selection of cold and warm dishes.

Not all guests reported positive breakfast experiences. Some were disappointed by the quality of the breakfast and felt that the selection was limited and at times the service very slow. If you are not in a hurry though, you can sit back, relax and enjoy

The water temperature at The Queensgate does not always run hot. Some guests found their showers to be lukewarm, and the water pressure low.

Some guests found the rooms to be a little on the small side, particularly those traveling in groups. Not all guests were bothered by this however, and described the rooms as small but cosy.
