Negative Reviews
negative:
No Pool or Lift.
While there is the option to receive beauty treatments in the therapy room, there is no swimming pool. Some felt the addition of a swimming pool would be make the hotel perfect. As this is a historic building there are no lifts, however guests can, when booking request a room on a lower floor.
negative:
Expensive Rooms and Food.
This is luxury accommodation and is priced appropriately. Apart from the room rate, the food and drink, while of a good quality, is likewise on the pricey side. Those who find this accommodation unaffordable should check for periodic special offers.
negative:
Not for Dog Haters.
The hotel is pet friendly and there is a well-trained house dog on site. Guests’ dogs are allowed to freely roam throughout the hotel, apart from the dining areas. This pet-friendly policy may not suit those with an allergy or fear of dogs.
