While guests certainly liked the hotel itself, they seemed to like its location, right in the heart of the historical inner canal ring, even more. They of course loved the atmosphere, but more than that, found they could easily walk to the attractions that had brought them to the city.
Guests really seemed to like the intimate nature of the hotel. There are only six rooms, and there are permanent staff, as well as the hosts, on-site. This resulted in what guests described as a unique experience with very personalised service.
Many guests were very pleasantly surprised to find that the contents of the minibar were there's to consume, without having to pay extortionate charges. In fact there were no charges at all, since they report the hotel supplied them free of charge.
Firstly, it must be stated that the feedback on misc eatdrinksleep was overwhelmingly positive. It was very hard indeed to find any negative comments. One minor point brought up was that, like all canal houses, there was a very steep staircase, which would be tricky or impossible for mobility-impaired people to negotiate.
