Positive Reviews
positive:
Love the updated units
Guests found spotlessly clean and updated units with plenty of space for everyone to relax. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh and crisp, and even the towels were found to be extra soft and fluffy. Overall visitors were very impressed with the well-appointed units.
positive:
Excellent value for money
With such helpful staff, a private laundry facility in the rooms, and two-bathroom, two-bedroom apartments, guests felt their money was very well-spent. The awesome views of the white-tipped mountains were also more than enough to bring guests back every year.
positive:
Plenty of good coffee around
With a Starbucks directly downstairs, and offering a range of Blenz coffees, guests who usually rely on that first cup to get them going had no excuse here. You will also find a bus stop outside the hotel if you need to get to the supermarket for groceries, or to the gondolas.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Sofa beds not the best
Those visitors who had to make use of the sofa beds were not all that impressed with the comfort level. To improve matters you can put down an extra blanket for a better sleep. Several guests slept on top of the sofa beds and brought in their own linen.
negative:
A little noisy at times
Guests found the overall area pretty noisy. With the active night life surrounding the hotel, and the noisy hallways, this didn't make for a very quiet sleep. The walls were considered by many travellers to be badly soundproofed, so make sure you bring along a set of ear plugs.
negative:
Tired decor
Each of the units are privately owned, so some of the them have not been lucky enough to receive an upgrade. Before you arrive, make sure you reserve exactly what you are looking for, as many guests were quite disappointed to get rooms where updating was needed.
