Hotel Quality Inn & Suites Columbus (Columbus, USA)

The hotel is not difficult to find and it's located near plenty of places to eat. There is also a movie theater. If you love animals the Columbus Zoo is not far away. In addition, the hotel staff is very welcoming and courteous, which helps a lot. They respond to any questions you might have in a reasonable fashion.

There is a vending machine in the lobby with snacks; however, the breakfast they serve makes up for it. The breakfast is hardy with biscuits and gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, fruits, yogurt, beverages and more. It's a step or two above the average continental breakfast.

Sure the carpet is a bit shabby and the walls could do with a good painting. It's not the most attractive facility; nonetheless, if you are just looking for a place to lay your head while you explore the area, it's not that bad.

This place needs an update pronto! What's more, there is an offensive smell of air freshener when you walk in the door. It's extremely strong. It's the kind of smell that can make you feel nauseated. Where the air freshener does not manage to cover-up the smell, be prepared to possibly experience a horrible smell especially in the staircase.

The lighting in the room is off. They use LED lights and they don't compliment the room very well. It would be better if they used a different type of lighting as the LED lighting does not work with illuminating the room. You might be served a completely cold breakfast as well.

The room layout is a bit weird. It appears as if it was really meant to be used for something else and was modified to become what it is. For example, you may find the bed in your room was placed in a corner and the headboard is up against the wall, which is actually the bathroom of the adjacent room.
