PENARTH GUEST HOUSE is a spacious detached house with three high-quality en-suite guest rooms set in its own grounds with on-site parking at the edge of St Blazey Gate, just five minutes’ drive or about a 25-minute woodland walk from the Eden Project. The guest accommodation is maintained to a high standard, and all rooms have wifi, Freeview TV, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities plus hot chocolate too! An iron and ironing board are also available. Rates are fully-inclusive of breakfast - we are very pleased to consistently receive highly-complimentary reviews regarding our food! We are also proud to hold a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating. For evening meals, two minutes' walk up the hill is The Four Lords, with typical pub food; a 10-minute walk down the hill is The Britannia Inn and Waves Restaurant; whilst directly opposite us is the Biscovey Fish Bar, where on Friday and Saturday evenings guests can buy tasty traditional fish 'n chips to eat in our breakfast room (we'll even supply plates, and do the washing-up afterwards!). This beautiful part of the south Cornish coastline between the River Fowey to the east and the River Fal to the west is known as the Cornish Riviera for its gardens, palm trees and fine weather. The Eden Project is one of the most visited attractions in Cornwall, and not far away are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock House and Gardens, Bodmin Jail, and the castles of Caerhays and Restormel - whilst for fans of Poldark, Charlestown (where the harbour sequences were shot) is just a five-minute drive away. We're only some 20-minutes walk from the beach at Carlyon Bay too! Please Note: Currently, all ticketed venues and most places to eat have to be pre-booked, due to reduced visitor/customer numbers and strict timed entry.
