You'll be close to many sites of interest and leisure activities when staying here. Parking is ample and there's never a worry about finding or losing a spot. Another plus for many is the tax-free shopping!

The rooms are quite spacious, and well maintained. They meet if not exceed expectations, and staff are very responsive to requests and questions. It's a decent place to stay, whether traveling alone, with friends or colleagues, or with or without children.

Park View Inn is most notable for being one of those places you know you can rely on, for affordable, nice accommodations, when in the area. It works very well for a night or two, and is a great motel to use as a base for Salem and nearby cities.

The term “breakfast” doesn't seem apt, as the morning provisions are just coffee, juice, and a packaged doughnut. The coffee isn't well liked, and the doughnut is something you can find at a convenience store (along with presumably, a better hot beverage!) It's best to have your own food available, or plan to go out.

There's mixed opinions about the bed and mattress's comfortability. Many guests find it to be too soft to adequately provide a restful and cozy sleep. If you can, bring along a body pillow or something else to add a bit more firmness.

Although smoking rooms are available, smells linger in some of the non-smoking rooms, or are not sufficiently removed from the rooms where you can have tobacco. Regardless of your own preference or requirement, be prepared to inform the staff of odors that still exist.
