Park Plaza Utrecht was found right next to Utrecht Centraal Station — also making it an option for those visiting Amsterdam — while Tivoli Vredenberg and De Jaarbeurs Exhibition Centre were right next door, and guests only had a short walk into the lovely Utrecht city centre.
Guests noted a nicely varied array of food in the breakfast buffets, also considered the restaurant fare to be of good quality with a decent menu, and the staff was thought to be friendly, nice and helpful.
The rooms were found to be comfortable, clean and quiet considering how close they were to the train station. Not fancy but good, basic accommodation, well suited to business travellers.
Some of those who stayed at Park Plaza Utrecht raised some small issues, which included: the rooms being too plain for their liking, or even a bit outdated, the buffet breakfasts being too expensive, not being able to open the windows, and the eyesore of long-term construction in the area.
