The rooms come with dressing gowns, slippers and treats. These extra perks delighted the guests. Many of them also commented that they enjoyed the rainhead showers.

Being next to public transit lines as well as a bustling shopping district made it easy for tourists to get around the city. Visitors also commented that they liked being able to walk to the nightlife, the shopping centres and restaurants.

Depending on where your room is, you might get a blast of music and party noise from the street. The hotel is located near the rowdy party district of Hong Kong, so the crowd noise can be disruptive to your sleep. Guests reported that the noise went on past 3 a.m. Ask for a room on one of the higher floors and you're likely to get a better view, too.

Expect the rooms to be a bit on the smaller side. Many guests commented that while the rooms are bright and clean, it's not very big and that the beds felt really low. It's not like staying at a furnished apartment.

Guests said that the service was slow at the cafe that serves breakfast. Many commented that the wait for a table took too long and that the food quality was lacklustre. Guests said they expected more than casual cafe food for the amount they paid to stay at Ovolo.
