Positive Reviews
positive:
Room for the whole family...
Young families appreciate the spacious rooms with a very practical layout, including for the full-sized tub in the bathroom and a single bed that pulls out from beneath the double bed, an ideal sleeping place for a toddler who has just upgraded from a crib, though cribs and extra single beds are also available. The mini refrigerator and microwave are treasured conveniences, too.
positive:
Quiet yet convenient location...
Guests often comment on the very short walk to U1 metro line, noting that all the delights of Vienna's historic city centre are only four U-Bahn stops away. The Prater is within walking distance, and the Messe is also nearby.
positive:
Very good value...
Guests often comment on the hotel's high value for money, especially in comparison with hotels closer to the centre. International travellers are relieved to find many of the front desk team are fluent in English, and the staff has received many positive reviews for their kind, professional service.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A hot night in May...
Several guests have reported that the air conditioning is centrally controlled and only runs in Spring and Summer; unfortunately, the staff seems to be unable to switch it on to accommodate above-seasonal temperatures in early May.
negative:
A few unfriendly faces...
Though the staff have received many positive reviews, some guests report unfriendly or unhelpful personnel behind the front desk and/or the bar.
negative:
A bit crowded at breakfast...
Some guests note that the smallish breakfast area is quickly overwhelmed in the mornings with young families, so it is best to get down there early if you don't enjoy this sort of chaos. There are a couple grocery stores nearby as an alternative.
