Positive Reviews
positive:
Peaceful but not far from the action
Guests like the location of this hotel, saying that it is nice and quiet yet. However, with it being within walking distance of several popular cafes and bars, and with a free daily shuttle bus to the beach, you will not miss out on lively nearby entertainment should you wish.
positive:
Right by the ocean
Guests love that the ocean is right on their doorstep at this hotel, especially as they can watch the dolphins as they swim by. There is excellent snorkelling and diving in the crystal clear waters or, if you are feeling more daring, you can take the plunge from the high rise platform.
positive:
Great breakfast
Guests enjoy their complimentary breakfast on a morning. They find there is a delicious selection of both traditional breakfast favourites, such as bacon and eggs and fresh fruit, as well as Jamaican dishes. The choice varies daily and guests find it all very tasty.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unreliable electricity supply
The power at the hotel regularly goes off, so the lights and the TV will not work. The hotel uses solar electricity during the day but unfortunately the air-conditioning units do not operate on this and so there is no air-conditioning between 9am and 5pm.
negative:
In need of some updating
Guests say that the hotel has a lot of potential to be really gorgeous, but at the moment it is quite run down and is in need of refurbishment to bring both its appearance, and the facilities provided, up to date.

Complaints about cleanliness
Cleanliness at any hotel should be taken as read. Unfortunately, a number of guests have complained about how dirty this hotel is and how much it affected the quality of their stay.
