Positive Reviews
positive:
Five stars for the customer service...
The front desk team frequently receives rave reviews for their friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service. Many hungry guests enjoy the continental breakfast, and love that the coffee (like the alcoholic beverages) is reasonably priced. Night owls appreciate that the bar is open 24 hours.
positive:
A luxurious atmosphere for a little price...
Guests rave about the decor and overall atmosphere in the One Lounge as well as in the guest rooms. Tired travellers rate the beds as "very comfortable," and many describe the property's value for money ratio as "excellent."
positive:
The location makes business a pleasure...
Ideally for business travellers and trade fair presenters, the RAI is a five-minute walk from the hotel. However, many guests find the location convenient for sightseeing, too; the nearby tram and metro offer quick commutes to the airport, museum district, and city centre. There's a supermarket right next door as well.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Just the basics...
Some guests have been disappointed to find the rooms lack a bar fridge, telephone, coffee machine, or closet. There is no room service or laundry facilities, either.
negative:
Feeding a crowd...
Though inviting and nicely decorated, the breakfast area can get crowded at prime times and some wish for greater variety and/or heartier entrees on the buffet table.
negative:
Climate control issues...
Issues with the room heating and cooling systems are occasionally reported, and guests in rooms with the glass wall (instead of a window that opens) sometimes feel as though they are "on display," and miss the option of letting fresh air in.
