Negative Reviews
negative:
Old Fashioned or Just Old
The hotel was built in 1939 and decorated in a vintage style. Guests, however, have begun to comment that the vintage simply looks old. The furniture shows obvious wear and tear, the paint on the walls has begun to peel and there is a damp, musty smell lingering throughout the hotel. The air conditioning unit gets the most complains as it is too noisy to sleep with. Most guests loved their stay anyway about would come back.
negative:
European-Sized Accomodations
The rooms are quite small for most guests preferences. However, other guests were pleased with the room size. Generally, people said the bathrooms were too small and there was very limited closet space. It may get cozy if you have two or more large suitcases.
negative:
Busy Breakfast
The breakfast area is small and gets crowded quickly. Items often run out quickly too. Many items are homemade and there is a barista onsite so it's advisable to get there earlier.
