Close to the M1 motorway, Little Lodge in Lutterworth, a 3-star bed and breakfast hotel, faces a bus stop and offers a shared lounge and outdoor patio. The four guest rooms are all colourful and well maintained with en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, DVD players, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a selection of books and films. Little Lodge also has a comfortably sized hot tub, outdoor barbecue and garden. There’s free parking on site. While breakfast is not included with your stay, there is a snack bar on site and several restaurants within driving distance. Just 1.1 miles from junction 20 of the M1 motorway, the hotel is 1.5 miles from Lutterworth Golf Club and within a 30-minute drive of Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham Airport.
Breakfast is satisfactory. You have the choice of a self-service breakfast with cereal and toast, which is included with the room price. There is also a cooked breakfast at an extra charge, which is quite good. The breakfast room is one large table. If you are the sociable type, you will enjoy this set-up. There is also a separate lounge with a huge TV, dining area, and kitchen where you can cook and store food.
The host at the lodge is a really nice and helpful individual. Don't be surprised to be offered a lift to various places in the area if you have trouble getting a taxi. He's just an all-around hospitable individual who is flexible and does not mind going out of his way.
You won't have to worry about parking, there's plenty of it at the facility even if you have a large vehicle.
Don't be surprised if you arrive during the late night and there's no one to meet you. You may be met with a list of instructions on a chalkboard in the corridor instead. However, once you meet the host, your feelings of frustration will probably melt away.
You may find leftover bits from previous visitors in your room like papers, soap, and other things.
The shower space is quite small, the sink in the bathroom is small as well. The toilet seat fits awkward, there are no blinds where blinds should be, and it seems like nothing has been modified in the room since the lodge was constructed.
