Hotel Lidomare (Amalfi, Italy)

The hotel is in a central location in Amalfi and therefore ideal to tour the small town and the Amalfi Coast. It is very close to famous beaches and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within a close walking distance.

Many guests enjoyed the nice hotel and mentioned they loved the antique furnishings and the colourful tile floors. The hotel had a very classical Italian feel to it and the views from the rooms and common areas were beautiful. The rooms were said to be neat by many guests who thought the views from their balconies were panoramic and beautiful.

The staff members were thought to be friendly people to most guests who stayed at the hotel. The staff members made the guests feel welcome.

The hotel access is said to be difficult by some guests who found it annoying to have to climb the stairs, especially those with heavy luggage to carry. They recommend to look for a place with no stairs if possible.

The area was found to be a bit noisy for some guests who could not sleep well because of the traffic noise of cars and buses driving past the hotel. It was noisy late at night and early morning.

Some guests felt the breakfast area was too crowded in the morning and that the breakfast items were very limited. They would have liked a bit more options for guests who had a different diet.
