Positive Reviews
positive:
Very convenient kitchenettes
A number of guests were especially happy to discover that their suite had a small kitchenette, something they were perhaps not expecting. In any event, they enjoyed the convenience of being able to make themselves snacks, drinks and even light meals in the comfort of their rooms.
positive:
Nice view towards Mont Saint Sauveur
Guests in rooms facing the mountains were quite happy with the view, saying that the view of the ski hills was lovely, and perhaps reminded them of the reason they were in the area.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
Guests really only had good things to say about the hotel's staff. They were said to be friendly, and also more than willing to lend a helping hand when circumstances called for it.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Indoor pool a bit cold
Quite a number of guests mentioned finding the indoor pool a bit chilly, especially in the winter months. They clearly felt that it was not sufficiently heated to allow for comfortable swimming.
negative:
Fireplace only in mid-winter
A surprising number of guests travelling in the shoulder seasons were disappointed to report that the hotel only allows guests to use the in-room fireplaces in winter. To their mind it was cold enough when they travelled to justify it and they would have loved to be able to start a cosy fire in their room.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi signal
A number of guests reported that they either couldn't get a Wi-Fi signal in their room at all, or that any signal they did get was very weak, resulting in a frustrating experience. It seems that rooms in certain areas of the hotel are more prone to this problem than others.
