Hotel Las Dunas (Ensenada, Mexico)

It was undoubtedly the hotel's staff that most impressed guests about the hotel. They were described as very friendly, and seemed more than wiling to help when their guests had a question or concern.

A number of guests mentioned that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel that provided some pretty decent traditional Mexican food. Many did not feel that they needed to look high and low for a restaurant, unless they really wanted to get out and about.

So far, no recent positive opinion has been expressed by guests about this hotel.

This was by far what most upset guests during their stay. They not only described the décor as hopelessly out of date, but went on to mentioned that the seeming lack of any recent updates affected the functionality of the place as well, with assorted equipment (e.g. TV's) either not working at all, or not working properly.

Guests were puzzled to find that their rooms contained no plates, glasses, cutlery and so on at all. This was despite all rooms having a microwave and mini-fridge, and some even having small kitchenettes. They wondered aloud what the point of these facilities were, if they had no practical means to make use of them with what was available in the room.

The majority of guests were quite unhappy with the cleanliness of the hotel, especially with their rooms. The complaints were many, ranging from stains of unknown origin to cockroach sightings, but whatever the specifics were, they did not leave guests with a very good impression.
