Hotel Kirra Vista Holiday Units (Coolangatta, Australia)

The hosts at the hotel were very nice according the comments left by guests who stayed here. Guests commented that the hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful which made their stay comfortable and hassle free.

The property is adjacent to the calm waters at Kirra Beach and for many guests the proximity to the beach was the highlight of their stay here. Guests also loved the views from their balconies and this was a favourite spot to enjoy the sea breezes in the afternoon with a cold beverage.

Guests commented that for the location and the facilities in the room that the price was spot-on and was great value for money in this part of the Gold Coast. Guests also commented that the proximity to restaurants and bars was also one of the main reasons for their stay.

Guests, on check-in described musty and damp odours coming from their apartments and suggested that the ventilation is a bit poor given that the smells took a bit of time to clear once they had opened the windows.

The furniture in the units was described by guests as needing replacing as it was very old and worn. Guests also said that the carpet, sofa and other soft furnishings could use replacing to get rid of the years of sand and grit that had worked their way into these items.

Travellers warned future visitors that there are no lifts at the hotel and to be prepared to carry their own luggage up to their apartments on check-in.  People with mobility issues left less than positive reviews about the lack of lifts and help to their rooms.
