Some guests were disappointed to find that they weren't within walking distance of the center of Key West meaning they either had to drive or hire cabs. Many also objected to having just a couple of restaurants in the vicinity of the resort.
Apart from an outdoor pool and a volley ball court the resort doesn't offer any other facilities much to the disappointment of some of the guests. Quite a few mentioned they would have liked a restaurant and a fitness center on the premises.
As the resort is close to the airport some guests said that they found the jet noise quite intrusive.
