Many guests enjoy the "home away from home" feeling of the suites, often commenting on the convenience of the well equipped kitchenettes and very comfortable beds with soft sheets. Families particularly love the one bedroom layout with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, noting it's more economical than two separate rooms yet doesn't feel cramped.

The front desk staff have received many glowing reviews for their friendly, efficient service, while the housekeeping department often gets kudos for keeping the rooms looking "brand new." The complimentary breakfast is also very popular; guests describe the dining area as very inviting, and note the staff work hard to keep the buffet stocked.

Drivers generally appreciate the hotel's location near the I-25 and I-40, and describe it as a reasonably convenient base for visiting Albuquerque's many attractions, including the Balloon Fiesta, Nob Hill, Old Town, Route 66, and Sandia Peak. There are many restaurants and shops nearby as well.

The air conditioning unit in some (maybe all) of the bedrooms is unfortunately located near the head of the bed, which several travellers have found uncomfortably breezy and noisy.

Microwave-ready breakfast sandwiches are the centerpiece of the breakfast buffet, and guests seem to either love or hate them. Travellers wishing to fry their own eggs are sometimes irritated to find the kitchenettes do not have a stovetop, but induction burners are available from the front desk.

Though the rooms is widely described as very clean, some housekeeping oversights have been reported, and a few guests have had disappointing interactions with the front desk as well.
