Buffet Bonanza
For many, the highlight of the day is the bountiful breakfast, which is as substantial as it is delectable. With different items daily, guests never tire of the offerings. The selection of fresh fruits is a huge hit, while eggs benedict from the kitchen are understandably popular.
positive:
Brilliant for Business
The hotel is hugely popular with business travellers. With 24-hour business centre and lightning-quick Wi-Fi, repeat visitors appreciate the rest afforded in quiet, comfortable rooms, while workers returning from a long day of labour love the home from home atmosphere and warm cookies on reception.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Earplugs Essential
One of very few consistent complaints comes from under-slept guests annoyed by noise. Ongoing construction starts early and disturbs some, sounds from the street wake others, while mystery music drives some light-sleepers to distraction. Book a room on Stewart Street side or pack a pair of earplugs.
negative:
Parking-Lot Problems
While some guests are appreciative of the secure parking, others baulk at the extra cost. Whether self-parking or using the valet service, the charge for leaving a car overnight is unjustifiable according to many. Street parking is frequently available for significantly cheaper, and is free at certain times.
negative:
Quiet Neighbourhood
Occasionally, a guest is a little disappointed at this not-so-lively location. Despite being a downtown property, the area surrounding it is void of eating and entertainment options. Not all arrivals are enamoured with the idea of having to drive each time they venture out of the property.
