Positive Reviews
positive:
Spotlessly clean rooms
Again and again guests would bring up how clean their rooms were when they first checked in. Even those who admitted to being a little “OCD” when it came to cleanliness could not seem to find fault with housekeeping, who were also said to do a good job keeping the rooms clean over the course of a stay.
positive:
Truly exceptional staff
One of the first things guests brought up in their reviews was that they found the hotel’s staff to be truly exceptional. It wasn’t only the reception and other customer facing staff members who impressed, but guests felt that all the staff of the hotel were very customer oriented and seemed to have a pleasant and helpful disposition.
positive:
Very convenient location
Guests really seemed to like the hotel’s location. They felt that the location right by the freeway made travel to Nashville, and other locations in the region, very simple. Also, many mentioned that there were a number of great restaurants to try out in the neighborhood.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some noise from adjacent rooms
Quite a number of guests reported that they could hear sounds from adjacent rooms pretty easily, even if they weren’t particularly loud. The sound of footsteps from the room above was an especially common complaint.
negative:
No complimentary breakfast
Many guests were unhappy to discover that enjoying the hotel’s breakfast every morning would attract an extra charge. They felt that many other hotels in this category include a hot breakfast in their room rates and were disappointed that this one did not.
negative:
Uncomfortable beds
A much greater than average number of guests complained about the beds being uncomfortable. The specific complaints were varied, but the volume of the complaints, and the fact that there were very few compliments, seems to indicate that the mattresses used do not have very broad appeal.
