About Hargate Hall
Near the Market Town of Buxton, is Hargate Hall; a property built in 1899 as a Gentleman's residence, now divided into twelve self-catering apartments.
Each apartment is well-equipped and varies in size from one bedroom to three. Each has sofas, TV and DVD players and cots and highchairs can be supplied. Many have open fireplaces with coal, fire lighters and matches provided.
The hotel is set amongst seven-acres of park land, including a lawn for croquet, football and cricket and, inside, there are communal areas with seating and well-stocked book shelves. There is also a kids play area.
The nearest supermarket is six-minutes from Hargate Hall and there are traditional Village pubs and two chip shops in Tideswell, a seven-minute drive away.
Chatsworth House, Peak Wildlife Park and the Village of Buxton are within easy reach, and activities such as quad biking, horse riding and potholing can be booked locally.
