Negative Reviews
negative:
Some noise concerns
Although many guests describe this hotel as quiet, it does appear that some rooms are within earshot of train tracks. Unfortunately, it's the rooms with the best view of the harbour that appear to be affected most. Some guests also mention that the A/C units are loud.
negative:
Dated hallways
Not that it's a huge problem, but several guests mention that the hallways are in need of renovations and smell musty. This may not bother you too much, but they do seem to be of a noticeably lower standard than the rooms and suites.
negative:
Occasional disappointment with breakfast
While many guests enjoyed the free breakfast, a number of guests were less impressed. The choice of items (or lack thereof) appears to be the most frequent concern, although some guests do also mention that they found breakfast to be overcrowded.
