Positive Reviews
positive:
The service is worth every penny
Since it is a culinary school, the staff is comprised mostly of students. And the level of education provided at the institute is clearly reflected in the thoroughly professional behaviour of the staff. They are polite and friendly, and they will remember your preferences well.
positive:
Delectable food with variety
There is a lot of variety provided during breakfast. The food will leave a pleasant after-taste on your tongue. Your order is placed quickly and the fresh food is served in the least possible time. The waiters/waitresses and cooks are well experienced and polite.
positive:
All-round cleanliness and convenience
The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the maintenance is constant. The Sherbrooke metro station is a few blocks away, and St. Laurent Boulevard can be reached in a few steps.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The neighbourhood can be cause for concern
There are many idlers and homeless people wandering around; they can become a bit aggressive sometimes. The lobby is antediluvian, deserted, and dark. You would be wise to not roam around the corridors at night.
negative:
Reception woes, loud air conditioner
There are no bells in the rooms to call for the receptionist. Meaning, you will have to walk to the front desk in order to get things done. The AC in some of the rooms makes a lot of noise when switched on, too.
negative:
No issues reported
So far, no recent negative opinion has been expressed by guests about this hotel.
