Hotel Emerald Sands Apartments / Condominium (Surfers Paradise, Australia)

Parking is easy at this hotel as there are plenty of spacious parking spaces in a secure, on-site covered parking area.

This hotel is in the perfect location with the best of both worlds.  It's practically right on the beach and is so quiet you would think you were in the middle of nowhere.  In fact, the centre of town and all its services and attractions, is within walking distance.  Guests also reported that the views in the area are spectacular and public transit stops are nearby, which makes it easy to explore the entire area.

Everything is so well-maintained at this hotel and staff are always working hard to keep it that way.  The swimming pool is clean and refreshing, the spa is clean and beautifully-kept and the gardens are always being tended to.

Guests reported that some staff members are quite rude and instead of listening to guests, they tend to pass blame and are unapologetic and uncaring when things go wrong.

Guests reported that it's too hot to sleep in the rooms at night because the air conditioning doesn't work.  The windows can't be opened due to the noise pollution outside and the fans in the rooms do nothing to cool the air.

The guest rooms are dated and in need of some work as guests reported some issues including tiny showers with no room to move, lights and appliances that don't work properly, dirty carpet and bathroom fixtures that should have been replaced long ago.
